Consequent upon the counseling of the candidates held in the office chamber of
the undersigned on 15/04/2013 & 18/04/2013, the candidates bearing the following
Entrance Test Roll Nos have been selected provisionally in order of merit for admission
to M.A. Programme in the disciplines of Economics, Social Work, Mass Comm &
Journalism, Sociology, Islamic Studies, Political Science & History, Session – 2013
subject to the following conditions:-
1. The admission of the candidates shall be strictly provisional, subject to the
verification of their original documents/certificates by the concerned Heads of
the Departments at the time of their admission;
2. The admission of the candidates shall be subject to the verification of their
academic merit by reference to the original Marks Cards and the result Gazette
3. The candidates who have obtained qualifying degrees from
universities/institutions other than the University of Kashmir shall obtain
clearance from the Academic Section before grant of their admission to a
programme
4. The candidates admitted under supernumerary seat “Children of Permanent
Employees of the University” (SN) shall be subject to the condition that the
candidate has not availed the admission under the said category earlier. To this
effect the parent of the candidate shall have to submit an affidavit to the effect
that his/her eard has not been admitted to any course earlier, under the said
category.
5. The candidates shall submit an affidavit to the effect:-
a. That they are not working in any Govt./Semi Govt./ Private Institutions.
The In-service candidates shall produce relieving order/NOC from their
employers
b. That they have not migrated from this university and are not enrolled
with any other course in this University or any other
University/institution.

The last date for completing the admission formalities is upto 27th of April,
