Kupwara Apr 18 : Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Handwara, Muzaffar Ahmad Peer Monday asked people to record their statements over the Handwara firing incident in which three civilians including a woman were killed on April 12.
Peer who has been appointed as inquiry officer into the incident of firing at Handwara told KNS that he asked people having knowledge about the firing incident in the area to appear before him and record their statement in this regard.
“The persons who are desirous to depose and record their statement to appear before him at his office chamber, Handwara from 20/4/2016 to 30/04/2016 during official working hours’” Peer said.
Earlier, District Magistrate Kupwara Rajeev Ranjan vide order number 2DMK/Adm of 2016 dated 12/4/2016 has appointed ADM Handwara Muzaffar Ahmed Peer as inquiry officer into the incident of firing at Handwara on 12/04/2016.
