Authorities have decided to place restrictions in Lal Chowk and adjacent Maisuma area to prevent a proposed funeral for Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) ideologue Amanullah Khan.
Khan passed away in Rawalpindi area of Pakistan on Tuesday after a protracted illness.
JKLF Chief Yasin Malik has condemned the forces’ action, terming it as their “high-handedness.”
